Tom Ibbitson moved into his Oshawa home just a couple months ago but by Halloween he knew some of the kids in his new neighbourhood were far from sweet.

The single 26-year-old Toronto hydro worker plays darts with his pals Monday nights, so he wasn’t home to shell out candy to trick-or-treaters Oct. 31.
